PSG and UK University Jointly Offer Master Programs
Coimbatore: The PSG Institute of Advanced Studies and University of West of England, Bristol, UK signed an MoU recently to jointly offer Split Masters Programs such as M.Sc (Information Technology) and M.Sc (Software) enabling the students to study one semester at PSG and one semester and project work at UWE.
This reduces the financial burden on the students to study the entire course at UWE. Faculty exchange is also included in the MoU. Some of the faculty may be deputed to do research at UWE.
According to a press release, for admission to M.Sc (IT) and M.Sc (SW), students having BE and B.Sc degrees with relevant specialisation are eligible. Before going to UWE, the students must have a qualification in English equivalent to IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL 600.
