All Schools Equipped with Computer Labs

Coimbatore: All schools in the state will be equipped with computer laboratories in two years, School Education Minister Thangam Thennarasu said here on Monday.

Inaugurating 'One College One School Adoption' scheme of Bharathiar University (BU), marking the 125th birth anniversary of 'Mahakavi' Subramania Bharathiar, he said language laboratories will also be set up in schools to improve the students' skills in languages.

"The state is taking several steps to improve the quality of education. We will also introduce industrial courses to help the students get jobs," the minister said.
