Role of Sainik Schools Hailed
Udumalpet: Lt. General Noble Thamburaj, Army Commander of Southern Command, on Friday appreciated the role of Sainik schools in nation building.
At the annual day celebrations at Sainik School, Amaravathi Nagar, near here, Mr. Thamburaj said Sainik schools produced good leaders in different walks of life while other schools produced good citizens.
An alumnus of the school, Mr. Thamburaj termed his stay there as the turning point in his life. He said that he learnt perseverance and hard work there.
