Gurgaon School Student Shot Dead by Classmates

Gurgaon: In an incident reminiscent of American high-school shootings, two Class VIII students of a private school here reportedly shot dead their classmate on Tuesday afternoon. Both the accused have been detained by the police.

The incident took place around 2 p.m. when the accused had an altercation with 14-year-old Abhishek Tyagi and, in a fit of rage, fired five shots from close range in the school corridor after their class got over. Both the accused took turns to fire at the victim, police said.
