New Delhi: Swamped by marriage proposals from thousands of medical students, Union Health Minister Anbumani Ramadoss has softened his stand on extending the duration of MBBS course to include rural postings.
There is no proposal to extend the duration of MBBS course and the rural postings will have to be completed within the present duration of five-and-a-half years itself," Ramadoss asserted on the sidelines of three-day ministerial conference on avian and pandemic influenza.
