Now Speed Post Passport Service at 1, 093 Post Offices

New Delhi: Minister for Communications and Information Technology Dayanidhi Maran and Minister of State for External affairs E. Ahamad jointly dedicated the network expansion of the Speed Post Passport Service here on Wednesday.

The joint initiative of the Postal Department and the External Affairs Ministry will benefit passport seekers al over the country. Instead of going to the passport office, an applicant can just walk into the nearest Speed Post Centre/Post Office and submit the form. After it has been processed at the passport office, the passport will be sent to the applicant through Speed Post.
