Youngest Doctoral Degree Holder from Indian Institute of Science

Bangalore: Imagine a three-year-old telling his parents that he did not want to go to regular school because he knew the entire syllabi. And then deciding at six, that he wanted to finish schooling as soon as possible and get into research.

Well, 20-year-old Tathagat Avatar Tulsi did just that and his parents obliged.

The result: Tathagat completed B.Sc when 10 years old, M.Sc at 12 and is now all set to become the youngest doctoral degree holder from Indian Institute of Science.
