Common University Bill in Next Assembly Session

Chennai: Higher Education Minister K Ponmudy today said that the Common University Bill aimed at bringing uniformity in the procedures for all universities in Tamil Nadu would be introduced in the next session of the State Assembly.

At present, each university is following its own procedures governing the conduct of meetings of the Syndicate, Senate and Academic Council, besides adopting different syllabi for similar courses.
