Bharathiar University to set up Bharathiar Research Centre

Coimbatore: The Bharathiar University's gift to the poet, after whom it has been named, on his 125th birth anniversary (Dec 11) is an exclusive research centre that will help the people across the globe research on his works.

Rural Industries Minister Pongalur N Palanisamy will inaugurate the 'Bharathiar Research Centre' at the varsity on Dec 10.

People from any part of the world interested to do Ph.D or D.Litt on Subramania Bharathi's works can register themselves with the research centre. Special concessions await them.
