ICAI signs agreement with Abu Dhabi-based Institution
Chennai: The institute of chartered accountants of India has entered into a MOU with Abu Dhabi based center of excellence for applied research and training to conceptualize and device an international curriculum in accountancy.
ICAI president T.N.Manoharan, who returned to chennai after signing the MOU with Dr.Tayeb Kamali, vice-chairman of CERT recently, termed the tie-up with the united Arab Emirates government backed institution as a “historic moment for the institute and accounting and auditing profession in the middle eastern countries.”
At a press meet organized last week, he said the institute would soon constitute a task force that would visit the CERT and hold discussions on future collaborations.
