Additional fee for Private Medical College Students Decreased
Pondicherry: The fees collected by various self-financing medical colleges in addition to tuition fees have been decreased.
Making this announcement during Zero Hour in the Assembly on Friday, Chief Minister N Rangasamy said Mahatma Gandhi Medical College and Research Institute (MGMCRI) would charge Rs 40,000 in addition to Rs 1.5 lakh tuition fees.
The Pondicherry Institute of Medical Sciences would charge Rs 53,000 in addition to Rs 1.75 lakh tuition fees and Sri Manakula Vinayagar Medical College would charge Rs 35,000 in addition to Rs 1.5 lakh tuition fees.
