High Court directs Medical College to admit Student

Chennai: The Madras High Court has directed the PSG Institute of Medical Science and Research in Coimbatore to allot a seat in the first year MBBS course to V Preethi of Salem when a vacancy arose.

Justice Prabha Sridevan gave the direction on Monday while passing orders on a writ petition from Preethi challenging denial of the seat by the PSG Institute and the Chettinad Hospital and Research Institute in Kancheepuram district.
