Erode: V.P.Krishnamurthy is a part time BE Mechanical Engineering student. To attend classes that are conducted between 6 pm and 9 pm on weekdays at the Coimbatore Institute of Technology, ha has to board a bus at 4 pm at Perundurai.
To board the 4 pm shuttle, he has to wind up his classes at the kongu polytechnic college ten minutes in advance, for he teaches technical drawing there.
After attending classes for three hours, with only at ten minute interval, he returns to erode by 11 pm and then reaches his home in Bhavani by 11.30 pm. In the process, he ends up with four hours of travel alone. The case of his colleague, K.Ravichandran is no better.
