Madras University to offer E-Course
Chennai: The University of Madras is planning to offer two online master’s course on food science and biotechnology as part of its tele-education project linked with pan-African e-network project, said its vice-chancellor S P Thyagarajan.
Addressing a press conference on Saturday to announce the 150th Foundation Day celebrations of the university, which would be inaugurated on September 4, Thyagarajan said the content creation for the e-course was nearing completion and it would be operational by year-end.
As many as 53 universities were part of the pan-African e-network which would be linked through Rashtrapati Bhavan, he added.
