Teachers should be IT Literate

Coimbatore: Teachers should update their knowledge of Information Technology, said M.N.G.Mani, dean, Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Educational and Research Institute here on Friday.

Inaugurating the college association of Dr.N.G.P College of Education, he said B.Ed colleges should focus on providing computer education to its students.

"Children of today are very well-informed. They are very intelligent. Teachers may have to learn first in order to teach them," he added.
