High Court Stays Teacher Recruitment Board Order

Recruitments were to be on the basis of written examination

Chennai: The Madras High Court stayed Recruitment of schoolteachers through written examination as stipulated in the July 26 order of the Teacher Recruitment Board (TRB) on Friday. The impugned notification invited applications for vacancies in schools.

Justice P. Jyothimani granted the interim stay on a writ petition filed by K. Indirani of Coimbatore. He also ordered notices to the Education Secretary, Director of School Education and the TRB, returnable in two weeks.
