Knowledge Centre Opened in AU

Chennai: A Digital Knowledge Centre worth Rs 70 lakh was today inaugurated at the Anna University. Located in the liberty of the college, the Centre is the combined effort of the alumni, the class of 1979 at the College of Engineering, Guindy. It was indeed, payback time!


The Centre has two sections-internet and content creation, while the former will be useful for search purposes on the internet, the latter will be about books being scanned, photographed and stored in the server meant for this purpose, according to Suresh, one of the alumni.
