Veterinary Varsity to Start Bio-Lab to Check Bird Flu

Chennai: The Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (TANUVAS) is planning to start a southern regional bio-security lab to assess bird flu, for the benefit of the poultry industry, said P Thangaraju, vice-chancellor. Addressing a press conference on Saturday, Thangaraju said the lab would be a branch of the only high security lab located in Bhopal.
