Choosing your Business School
Choosing your Business School The choice of a business school matters much We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence is not an act, but a habit”. On unique aspect of management education is that the institution from which you qualify is significant in deciding your professional prospects. Thus the need for choosing the right business school for pursuing your management studies. But how do you know which are the best schools? There are some practical methods we can follow in identifying the school that matches our need. Some of our popular journals often publish the ranking of business schools in the country. They give overall ranking, as well as ranking based on certain aspects such as placement history, faculty, infrastructure, and fees. We should not be blindly carried away by any one ranking. But if we peruse a few rankings by different agencies, we would be able to get a fair picture. Another method is to watch the placement record of different business schools. Most of the good schools publish their placement records on their web sites. The type of organizations that select students and the salaries offered to them give us some Indication of the reputation and quality of the school. It is a wise idea to gather information from the employers` choice of the institutions for campus selection. http://winentrance.com/news/Choosing-your-Business-School.html
