Understand Students psyche, V-C tells Teachers

Coimbatore: Understanding of the students’ psyche would help teachers in effective management of classrooms, Bharathiar University Vice-Chancellor G Thiruvasagam said here recently.

Speaking at a workshop on ‘Towards effective classroom management for school teachers’ at the GRD College of Science, he said teachers should shed their rigid attitude and create a feel-free atmosphere in the classrooms.

“There is a small percentage of teachers who are averse to change themselves in tune with the present times. They should change their mindset and adapt themselves to the changing situation”, he said.
