Komarapalayam industrialist gets Productivity Congress Fellowship
Erode: M.S. Mathivanan of Komarapalayam who recently received a doctorate from Bharathiar University has now been elected for a fellowship from the World Productivity Congress at its 14th Conference held at Shenyang, China recently.
Sharing his experience in the 14th World Productivity Congress meeting, M.S. Mathivanan, chairman of the Cauvery Hi-tech Weaving Park, Komarapalayam, said here on Monday that he had been invited by the Council to participate in the congress, which was conducted on October 8 to 10 in Shenyang. He submitted a research paper on `Corporate Governance-Enhancing productivity in a global era,' which was well appreciated by the eminent guests and scholars. In his research paper he had mentioned that owing to globalisation the market had widened and the export and import areas had improved, which could be mainly attributed for removal of quota restrictions and import duty reduction.
