Salem: Anna University Vice-Chancellor D. Viswanathan on Monday distributed offer letters to 626 students who got job offers in various companies through the "Tamil Nadu" State-level Placement Programme.
Speaking at the function held in the Government College of Engineering here, the Vice-Chancellor said that a large number of multinational companies had set up branches in the country. The MNC`s were keen on recruiting Indian students as they were intelligent and hardworking. To get selected through the campus recruitment programmes, students should make serious efforts to meet the expectations of the industry. They should develop communication and leadership skills to improve their employability, he said.
