SRM Deemed University signs MoU with US University
Chennai: SRM Deemed University and Wisconsin University, USA, signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) recently on academic collaborations, including twinning programme agreement, exchange of faculty and students and research collaborations.
Vice-chancellor of Wisconsin University, Don Betz and director, International Initiatives, SRM University, M Ponnavaikko, signed the MoU. Speaking to reporters, Betz said that twinning programmes in Science, Engineering, Humanities and Fine Arts will be offered. He also said that the University had signed MoUs with two educational institutions in Bangalore – the St Joseph’s College of Business Administration and Jain Group of Colleges. Ponnavaikko said that students would be selected for the exchange programme based on their merit and skills.
