Chennai: The Madras High Court has ordered notices to the University Grants Commission, the All India Council for Technical Education and the Tamil Nadu Government, on a public interest litigation petition seeking the closure of Institute of Chartered Financial Analysis of India (ICFAI) study centres offering full-time academic programmes without permission.
The First Bench comprising Chief Justice A.P. Shah and Justice K. Chandru ordered notices to a total of 11 respondents, including the ICFAI University, on the petition filed by B.N. Devadas, a non-practising advocate.
