Petition to close ICFAI Varsity Study Centres Dismissed
Chennai: A public interest litigation petition, seeking closure of the ICFAI University's study centres in Tamil Nadu, was dismissed as withdrawn by the Madras High Court on Wednesday.
A Division Bench comprising Justice Prafulla Kumar Misra and Justice M. Jaichandren dismissed the petition by K. Rajendran after it was brought to the court's notice that no representation had been sent by the petitioner to the University Grants Commission (UGC) or the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
