E-Library to Come up in MGR Medical University

Chennai: An e-library will soon be set up at the Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University. The State Planning Commission has requested funds from the University Grants Commission (UGC) for the purpose.

University Vice-Chancellor Meer Mustafa Hussain spoke about plans for the facility at the release of 'Current Concepts in Surgery - II', a book authored by Dr N Dorairajan, Head, Department of Surgery, Madras Medical College (MMC), here on Tuesday.

The university has a virtual library at present, the Vice-Chancellor claimed.
