Recruit 522 SC/ST Candidates as Lecturers in Government Colleges
The Madras High Court has directed the Tamil Nadu Government to issue a notification to recruit 522 SC/ST candidates as lecturers in government colleges within a month.
The direction was issued by the First Bench, comprising Chief Justice A.P. Shah and Justice V. Ramasubramanian, on a petition filed by Editor of the Dalit Murasu, M. Punithapandian.
Making it clear that the Government shall not club these 522 vacancies with any other posts, the Bench said a separate advertisement/notification should be issued for a special recruitment drive. The appointments should be made as early as possible.
