Post Graduate Studies in Emergency Medicine

Chennai: Taking into consideration the growing number of accidents and other emergency cases, the National Board of Examinations (NBE) will look at the possibilities of introducing postgraduate studies in Emergency Medicine and Trauma Care, said a. press release.

Speaking at the inauguration of 'EMCON - 2007', the ninth annual conference of the Society of Emergency Medicine, India, at Sri Ramachandra University, Professor A.Rajasekaran, president, NBE, said that 34 out of 1 lakh vehicles were involved in accidents in India.
