Curriculum of Bharathiar University to be restructured
Coimbatore: An Industry Consultancy Cell will be formed and the curriculum of Bharathiar University for 2006-07 will be restructured to incorporate the immediate needs of the industry, G. Thiruvasagam, Vice-Chancellor of the University, said here recently.
He was chairing an interaction meeting with industrialists and hospitals of Coimbatore convened to bring about an industry-integrated approach to education and ensure employment to graduates passing out of Bharathiar University.
Dr. Thiruvasagam said that it would serve as a platform for the industry to air their needs.
