MBBS Phase II Counseling from August 10
Chennai: The second phase of counseling for MBBS/BDS courses for seats available under the State quota in government medical/dental and IRT Perundurai Medical College, would be held between August 10 and 12 with the counseling for reallotment of candidates, who had already been selected, slotted for day one.
A government release said that as many as 65 vacancies in government medical colleges, two in IRT College and 12 in the Government Dental College were reported after candidates did not join the seats allotted at the end of the first phase of counseling.
In addition, three more seats had been offered to the State quota in the IRT and the Director General of Health Services had given permission for an additional 40 seats in the Government Dental College.
