Micro Small and Medium Enterprises - (MSME) Development Institute Introduced 6 Month Course

Coimbatore: A six-month training program has been introduced to tackle, in a phased manner, the skilled labour shortage in small and medium industries of the district.

Designed by the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises - (MSME) Development Institute, Chennai, this training programme is a joint venture of the institute and the Coimbatore District Small Industries Association (CODISSIA).

To begin with, the institute has decided to train 1,000 unemployed youths for the foundries in Coimbatore and the first batch was launched on November 10.
