More Opportunities for Women in Higher Education

Madurai: In a major policy decision, the Government has decided to remove the existing 30 per cent ceiling for girls’ admission in government co-education colleges from next academic year.

Right now, only 30 per cent of seats are available for girls seeking admission to government arts colleges that are in co-education mode with the remaining for boys.
