Kovai NCC Girl Cadets bring Home Laurels

Coimbatore: The 14 girl cadets from 5(TN) Girls BN NCC, who formed a part of the 40-member team that represented Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry in the All India Thal Sainik Camp in New Delhi, have come home with laurels.

The team stood second among 17 States that participated in the camp held from September 24 to October 5. The girls proved their mettle in firing, obstacle event, map reading, line area competitions, tent pitching and sports events. They were also assessed in theory subjects.
