New exam pattern for IITs

New Delhi: A new pattern of examination has been introduced in the Joint Entrance Examination for admissions to the IITs with a view to reduce the stress on the candidates; the Lok Sabha was informed on Tuesday. To be implemented from 2007 onwards, the new examination would contain new features – it would be a single tier exam.
