Colleges use smart students to corner CET seats
Bangalore: Does a medical college get worked up if it were to see some of its seats allotted at the CET Cell cancelled by candidates? Not quite so. It may even celebrate.
A few officials who have been in charge of the CET affairs for years suspect the hand of organized groups of agents at work behind many cancellations. These agents identify candidates who stand a chance in medicine, make them pick up their seats and get them to cancel later. The colleges sell these seats in the open market.
