New Vice-Chancellor for Madras University
S.P. Thyagarajan's tenure comes to an end on September 6
Chennai: S. Ramachandran, Director of the Centre for Research and the Institute for Ocean Management in Anna University, has been appointed Vice-Chancellor of the University of Madras.
He will serve for a period of three years from the date of his assumption of office, a Raj Bhavan release said on Wednesday. Mr. Ramachandran will take over from Vice-Chancellor S. P. Thyagarajan, whose tenure comes to an end on September 6.
