Literary Translation Competition
Sahitya Akademi's bi-monthly English journal celebrates its 50th year of publication. Translations from Indian languages into English in the genres of Poetry (not more than 60 lines in translation), Short Fiction (not more than 2500 words) and from our Oral Literatures (from any genre, but following the same word-limits) are invited, so as to reach Within one month of publication of this advertisement. No name or address of translator, or any attempt at self-identification should be there on the body of the submissions. The submissions should be accompanied by photocopies of original texts.
