Court directive to Central Board of Secondary Education - CBSE Schools

Chennai: The Madras High Court on Monday directed all Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) schools in Tamil Nadu to furnish, in two weeks, the particulars of students they admitted to Standard XI.

The directive was given by the First Bench of Chief Justice A.P. Shah and Justice P. Jyothimani on a public interest litigation petition against `weeding out' of Standard X students by their own schools while granting admission to Standard XI.
