Anna University Colleges to become Departments
Chennai: In a major policy move, Anna University’s Syndicate has decided to convert its four constituent colleges into university departments.
The Colleges of Engineering Guindy, the A.C. College of Technology, Guindy, the School of Architecture and Planning and the Madras Institute of Technology Chrompet, have been autonomous entities so far. Each of them has a separate administrative structure, with its own dean and controller of examinations.
